India's Supreme Court issues notice on Mangalore crash compensation

Today Supreme Court of india has given the notice to the air India Express to pay the compensation to the families of victims but yet now has been delayed by the air India Express to initiate the payment
to the families. A air India Express flights dubai to mangalore was directed and misfortunately met with accident due to the overshot of runway by the pilot on airport, on May 22, 2010 and caused loss of 158 people lives and very only 8 people survived of total passenger in accident of flights to mangalore from dubai international airports. A member of victim�s family was saying that Air India is knowingly delaying the matter to avoid the full compensation to victim�s family as per montreal convention and they have to pay sum of 7.5 million rupees to crash victims familes,without the victims' families having to prove negligence. A division bench of Kerala High Court on August 25, 2011 set aside the verdict of a single-judge bench of the same court, asking Air India to pay over Dh500,000 to families of each of the victims. For this case Air India has appointed a commission "Nanavati for negotaiting with families of victimes, relatives and for deliverign them compensations but the families are bent on asking the Dh500,000 according to the montreal convention.
